For the incident “Leakage of footage of IDF firing missiles”, HQ said (24) that the footage of IDF practicing firing missiles was filmed by the partner jet but accidentally leaked out. The investigation was launched and would find out whoever responsible for it.

Air Force HQ also gave its comment on the failure. The known for-now detail told that the pilot was following the standard procedures to launch a Tien-Chien II missile. However, due to the unknown reason the missile was not successfully ignited and directly fell into the ocean. HQ had had a team already to investigate the failure with NCSIST.

Air Force HQ addressed that the purpose of life fire shooting was examining the performance of weapon systems and improving the experience which would be critical for strategies and R&D in the future. HQ hoped people could keep their support.
